Research Interest:
  • Development and clinical application of quantitative T2 mapping for brain, prostate and musculoskeletal MRI.
  • Extensive experience in developing spatiotemporally-encoded MRI techniques. Specific focuses on single-scan, multi-scan, spectroscopic imaging, 3D MRI, EVI and imaging around metallic objects.
  • Design, computer-simulations and implementation of MRI protocols, including general RF pulse design, frequency-swept and multi-dimensional pulses and fundamental spin-physics.
  • fMRI studies – using standard and spatiotemporally-encoded imaging techniques.
  • Image-reconstruction & processing using linear and non-linear optimization techniques, super-resolution deconvolution algorithms and signal-processing tools.
  • Post-processing and realtime techniques for the mapping and compensation of magnetic field inhomogeneities and image artifacts.
