Research Interest: 

My research work has focused on development of novel imaging approaches that enable “always-on” continuous MR scanning using compressed sensing and radial sampling. I have been involved in the development of GRASP and XD-GRASP techniques, which combine compressed sensing and parallel imaging with golden-angle radial sampling for motion robust free-breathing MRI. The techniques are currently evaluated on volunteers and patients referred for evaluation of liver, heart, and lung diseases – three areas of high public health impact which still suffer from challenges associated with physiologic motion and the complex imaging workflow in conventional MR examinations.
