Our Center invites applications for the position of senior research technician with the Osteoarthritis Laboratory for Experimental !maging (OLE!). We are seeking an experienced and motivated research technician with background in musculoskeletal cell culture, knowledge of current technological developments in biochemistry (e.g., qPCR, multiplex arrays, flow cytometry, western blot, immunostaining, etc.), and experience working with animals. The candidate should have a proven track record of independent work under the guidance of senior lab personnel.
OLE! is a new lab with focus on the development of imaging contrast agents and therapies for osteoarthritis (OA). The lab employs unconventional approaches to further the understanding of pathological changes that lead to knee OA. Our focus is on developing technologies to detect when changes occur and how to best treat them. The laboratory draws on the resources of the radiology department at NYU Langone Health and has funding support from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
