Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Scientist in Accelerated Quantitative MRI

Our Center invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow / research scientist position in the department of radiology at NYU Langone Health. In particular, we are seeking a candidate with interest or expertise in developing pulse sequences and accelerated MR methods.

Our research group develops novel MR pulse sequences, image reconstructions, and accelerated quantitative MR methods, such as compressed sensing (CS), MR fingerprinting (MRF) and machine learning (ML).

Successful candidates will have opportunities to work closely with dedicated musculoskeletal-imaging basic scientists, clinician scientists from radiology, orthopedic surgery, endocrinology and rheumatology, as well as a large group of diverse MR physicists, image reconstruction experts, and radiofrequency coil engineers.

Qualifications

Applicants must have an PhD in physical science, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or related field. The candidate must be familiar with computer operating systems and programming languages, particularly MATLAB, C++, or equivalent. We also expect candidates to have excellent communication and writing skills.

Timeline, Salary, and Benefits

The position is initially offered for two years and may be extended based on satisfactory performance and availability of funds. NYU Langone Health offers a competitive salary and benefits package. We welcome both domestic and international applicants.
