Postdoctoral Fellow in Deep Learning Analysis of MRI

Our Center invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship focused on the development of deep learning methods for discovery of biomarkers and prediction of knee osteoarthritis (OA) progression from magnetic resonance images (MRI).

The postdoctoral fellow will join an interdisciplinary team with expertise in musculoskeletal imaging and machine learning research. We are especially interested in developing methods that improve accuracy of classification and that increase human interpretability of algorithmic predictions.

Expected Qualifications

  • PhD (or near completion thereof) in computer science, machine learning, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • Two years of hands-on experience with deep neural networks
  • Excellent programming skills, preferably in Python
  • Experience with volumetric data
