Who We Are

The Center for Biomedical Imaging (CBI) of the Department of Radiology at New York University School of Medicine has a strong and rapidly advancing international reputation for collaborative innovation. Our mission is to develop novel and highly impactful imaging technology with a focus on ensuring synergies among multiple imaging modalities such as PET and MRI. Scientists at CBI have access to the latest imaging equipment including a Siemens Biograph PET/MR human scanner and a micro-PET small animal system. A new cyclotron and state-of-the-art radiochemistry laboratory for the development, and production of novel research radiotracers will be fully operational in the first quarter of 2017.

We Are Looking For

A highly motivated molecular imaging researcher at the Assistant or Associate Professor level with a vision to establish an independent, extramurally funded molecular imaging research program within a dynamic, collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. Desired qualifications include a PhD (or equivalent) in a field related to molecular imaging with PET ligands, record of impactful publications in molecular imaging, funding track record/potential, record of innovation, and the ability to work collaboratively with researchers both within and outside our institute.
